Voting Hours for Polling Locations on Election Day 2010 in Florida

Today is Election Day 2010. Most people in Florida and nationwide feel that their votes will make a difference this year with the extremely close races. Everyone that wants to vote, may not be able to make it to the polls in time. However, the state of Florida does its best to accommodate as many as possible.

The voting hours in the state of Florida at all polling locations today are from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Some may remain open slightly later if there are people waiting in line.

Other polling locations across the country are typically open around the same times. Some open as early as 6:00 AM and close as late at 8:00 PM. You can either call your local city hall to find out voting times, or simply show up between 7AM and 7PM.

In most cases, polls tend to be less busy during the middle of the morning and middle of the afternoon. Most people try to get to the polls either before or after work, or during their lunch breaks. If you can manage to go another time, you should be right in and right out in no time.
